MP3 Requirements for the AGWS Audio Player
The AG Web Services Audio Player is based on Adobe Flash to allow for compatibility for all who view a church website and want to listen to an audio stream. Because of the nature of the player, each mp3 uploaded needs to have specific parameters.
Those parameters are:
- Each mp3 needs to be encoded as an *.mp3. The audio player will not accept *.wma, *.asf, *.avi, *.mpeg, *.midi, etc.
- Each mp3 needs to be encoded as the following:
22kHz
48kbps
If you do not have an audio editor, you can download a free one from our support site called Audacity. In the following days we will create a detailed tutorial using Audacity that describes how to output mp3s with the proper parameters.
As usual, please contact us with any questions about how to use the Audio Player.
